The HBCU Sports Summit is a dynamic platform dedicated to showcasing and elevating the athletic talents of middle and high school student-athletes to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). With a strong focus on promoting diversity and inclusion within the sports industry, the Summit offers athletes the chance to engage with professional scouts, coaches, and mentors from major sports leagues and universities. Our sports platform emphasizes the development of both athletic skills and leadership qualities, providing a comprehensive experience that includes workshops, networking events, educational resources, and on-field activities. Through this initiative, we aim to bridge the gap between aspiring athletes and HBCU sports programs, while creating pathways for broader professional opportunities. The Summit fosters collaboration between athletes, industry professionals, and corporate sponsors to ensure HBCU-bound athletes are well-prepared for success both on and off the field.
The Cal-HBCU Transfer Grant (Cal-HBCU) Program awards up to $5,000 to participating students who transfer from California Community Colleges to eligible, partnered Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
